Canada Day Event in North York

Looking for something to do in North York during the Canada Day long weekend? Look no further than Mel Lastman Square Friday, July 1 from 2 to 10 p.m. Enjoy a wonderful day with your friends and family. Begin the festivities with the event that also marks the 100 year anniversary of North York!


Enjoy live music, dance performances and fun activities, followed by spectacular fireworks at 10 p.m. Hosted by Monica Brighton. Admission is free.


Don’t forget to stop by the main stage to listen to some wonderful musical performances! Below you will find all the musicians that will be present.
