PEER 2 PEER TOOL KIT

We are partnering with the North York Seniors Centre on our 4th Move-a-thon & BBQ on Saturday May 3rd! The event includes a 4km walk, run, and 8km bike ride from the park through the Finch Hydro Corridor followed by a BBQ featuring delicious food. There are plenty of free components including live entertainment, a caricature artist, kids activities, giant bubbles, milk tea and more!

In a city as big as Toronto, finding the right help at the right time can be overwhelming.That’s why NeighbourLink North York and North York Seniors Centre are coming together to raise funds for two essential programs that will make a real difference:

A Community Navigator – NeighbourLink North York is fundraising to provide a dedicated guide to help families, newcomers, and vulnerable individuals connect with essential resources—from food security to employment support, housing, and more.

Mental Health Supports for Seniors – NYSC is raising funds to enhance our Adult Day Program through innovative Virtual Reality programming. This initiative will provide engaging, therapeutic experiences that support cognitive health, emotional wellbeing, and meaningful connection for older adults.

By supporting this campaign, you are ensuring that no one in our community has to struggle alone. Whether it’s a family looking for stability, a newcomer seeking direction, or a senior in need of mental health support—together, we can build pathways to care.
