For the last 13 weeks we have been distributing fresh produce to families in Willowdale experiencing food insecurity. Thanks to the generous donations from Zawadi Farm and our incredible volunteers, we are able to distribute this food to over 40 families, with food going to 18 families each week. Our student volunteers made cards by hand with words of encouragement for our recipients. It’s more than just food, it’s about building relationships and providing hope!"

Barbra said, "In January 2022, I officially retired and have been volunteering for Neighbour Link North York with the 415 Willowdale Food Hub, grocery shopping for local seniors and packing and delivering vegetables to families in need. I plan to continue with these services and other volunteering opportunities for many more years to come!"
